The Petro Andina story began in 2003 when the four initial founders began with a concept – that there was overlooked heavy oil pay on the eastern edge of the Neuquén basin north of the Colorado River. The energy of that vision and the ability to bring others together to turn the concept into reality has been the foundation for success of the Company.
