Petro Andina Resources Inc. (Petro Andina or the Company) is an international oil and gas exploration, development and production company with headquarters in Calgary, Canada. The Company is developing its existing reserves and conducting appraisal and exploration drilling on its 628,000 acre (346,000 acre net) land position in the Neuquén basin of Argentina. In early 2008 the Company announced the execution of a Joint Venture Agreement allowing Petro Andina to explore blocks in Trinidad and Tobago. Incorporated as a private company in July 2003, Petro Andina began trading on the Toronto Stock Exchange on May 23, 2007 under the symbol PAR. Petro Andina continues to achieve its goals by adhering to a focused strategy to identify, capture and execute large oil resource projects in moderate risk jurisdictions utilizing mature basin expertise from the most competitive basin in the world with international operating experience and local technical and commercial capability.
